Cinema Culinair: film+dinner events

Watching a film and eating the dishes from the film at the same time. So that you smell, see, taste and feel the same as the actors in the film. That is Cinema Culinair. Good film, good food, great timing. Or: “What you see, is what you eat”.

Founded in 2013 from a neighborhood initiative in Rotterdam's Graaf Florisstraat, has grown into the most creative and delicious night out in the Netherlands and Belgium. After 10 years, the founders have handed over the baton to two entrepreneurs: Jeffrey and Rutger. Harold is still associated with Cinema Culinair as a co-founder and helps the management by: scouting new locations, leading the growing team, financial management and as a team coach.

A personality test, especially for lovers of cooking, good food and drinks. Central question: How sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami do you actually taste?

Harold Smits developed this refreshing personality test and organizes training and tasting sessions about it at companies. The online assessments provide insight into the five layers of your personality. You'll also discover what kind of work and company culture suits you, and what kind of people your personality attracts and repels. Harold and his business partner Harm Rietmeijer expect to launch in the summer of 2026 with: individual tests, comprehensive analyses, and 360-degree feedback from family, friends, and colleagues.
